The Tollejo CXO Advisory Board

The Wisdom of Leaders

Our Global CXO Board is Tollejo’s exclusive advisory panel of C-suite members from various industries – giving you access to experience, opinions or advice on your next steps.

We find that the people we work with wish to continue working with us, and so we launched our advisory board to help others to achieve more.

You can ask questions on growth, intent, proposition feedback, strategy or technology. Find out more about our Advisory Board members below.

Iain Gibbons

With over 30 years of marketing experience on both client and agency sides, Iain has worked across multiple sectors including Automotive, IT, Communications, Retail, FMCG and Financial Services.

As Managing Director of McCann-Erickson, he oversaw the Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Procter and Gamble accounts before opening his own Digital Marketing Agency in 2002.

Iain moved client-side in 2011 after selling his business, taking on a series of senior leadership roles at Virgin Money before joining Thomas Cook Money as Chief Marketing Officer.

Latterly he was Group Marketing Director for the advice and investments mutual, Wesleyan, before taking on his current role as Marketing Director for Vida Homeloans, a private equity owned business providing specialist mortgage services.

Irene Sandler

Irene leads a team that defines global marketing strategy, positions and messages the company’s portfolio, and executes through the functions of analyst relations, thought leadership, and sales enablement for Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH), a US-based technology consulting firm with a $19 billion in revenue.

Earlier at Cognizant, she co-led the Accelerator, responsible for incubating many of Cognizant’s digital practices, such as Internet of Things and Conversational AI. Prior to Cognizant, Irene served as Director of Product Marketing for Cisco’s Internet of Things Group, where she defined and executed Cisco’s go-to-market strategy. Previously, Irene oversaw the launch of several models for Cisco Telepresence and facilitated the integration of the Tandberg acquisition.

Irene co-founded start-ups, iPlanet (sold to Sun Microsystems) and WUF Networks (sold to Yahoo!). She was an early hire at Perfigo, acquired by Cisco.

She holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard University, a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Georgetown University and a Certificate in Sustainable Business Management from the University of Cambridge.

Anthony D’Alton

Anthony has helped cybersecurity companies differentiate, grow and build reputations through storytelling for nearly 20 years. He has also been a national news journalist, built and sold communications consultancies and co-founded enterprise social data analytics company, Social360.

Tomás O’Leary

Tomás is a thought-leading, vocal and influential player in the secondary ICT market. Having spent over 15 years either working in IBM or in leading one of its more successful European business partners, in 2012 Tomás recognised the impact the major changes in the ICT market were having on the traditional enterprise ICT users and decided to give them something different – a choice!

Along with Rowan O’Donoghue, Tomás set up what is now one of Europe’s fastest growing self-funded software support companies, Origina. Origina is now recognised as the global leader in the independent third-party market for IBM software support and maintenance delivering a concierge service to some of the largest companies in the world in 20 different countries.

Tomás wants to change the software world by promoting fair play, empowering software users and championing intimate support. In 2014 Tomás set up Free ICT Europe (freeict.eu) specifically to address the lack of customer choice and perceived unfairness in the ICT secondary market, including software support, and then in 2022 a sister organisation, FreeICT USA (freeict.org). Both of these non-profits are having an impact in pushing fair repair legislation and IT choice in both Europe and the US.

Andrew Cefai

Andrew leads the Digital Marketing and Brand functions within Global Marketing. In this role, he drives the evolution and execution of the digital marketing strategy globally and is responsible for leading the creation and execution of Manulife’s Global Brand Strategy. He is also accountable for enhancing our creative agency capabilities.

Before joining Manulife, Andrew most recently served as Head of Marketing Services and Loyalty for Asia Pacific at Hilton. Where he worked for over ten years, leading multiple functions, including brand, digital marketing, media, eCommerce, loyalty, and partnerships. At the outset of his career, Andrew spent some formative years in the advertising world, including a stint at dentsu, Manulife’s recently appointed Agency of Record. Andrew grew up around the family business and probably has ‘commercial outlook’ stamped into his genetic code as a result.

Andrew is originally from the UK and has spent over 20 years in Asia. He is based in Singapore with his wife and two young daughters in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual household. Andrew graduated in Japanese Studies from the University of Sheffield and Hosei University in Tokyo and spent 13 years in Japan before relocating to Singapore.

She has a track record for getting to the heart of an organization and its leadership team, to find the collective ‘ID’ that establishes an irreplicable market position and narrative.

She has worked with CEOs, CIOs, CMOs, and start-up founders, to take a lofty vision statement, bring it to life in a straight-shooting business strategy, and connect the dots with product development, sales enablement, and marketing; customer experience; stakeholder and employee engagement. Her methodology combines journalism interview techniques with the character development techniques in the manuscript phase of filmmaking – flipping-the-script to uncover the untold stories that make the competition irrelevant.

Claims to fame: launched Google into the UK and European markets back in the day; lobbied U.K. MPs at the House of Commons to reform the Computer Misuse Act on behalf of a computer forensics client owned by Ontrack; partnered with a coalition of global partners to campaign on behalf of the United Nations on climate change in Paris; constructed the company narrative around the most successful campaign in Cisco’s 30 year history – the Bridge to Possible.
